Ed, Edd n Eddy is a 130-episode animated comedy television serial created past Danny Antonucci and produced by Canada-based a.thousand.a. Cartoon. The series debuted on Cartoon Network in the United States on January 4, 1999, and ended on Nov 8, 2009, with the moving-picture show Ed, Edd northward Eddy'south Large Film Show.[one] The series was originally planned to air for four seasons, only Cartoon Network ordered two boosted seasons, four specials, and a film[ii] as a result of its popularity, for a total of 135 stories.[iii] The series revolves around three adolescent boys collectively known equally "the Eds", who live in a suburban cul-de-sac. Unofficially led by Eddy, the Eds oftentimes effort to obtain coin from other children in their cul-de-sac in order to purchase jawbreakers. The Eds' plans usually fail and go out them in various predicaments.

Ed, Edd n Boil received generally positive reviews from critics.[15] [xvi] Viewed from 31 million households worldwide in 29 countries, Ed, Edd n Eddy was pop among both younger and older viewers.[1] During its run, the serial won a Reuben Award,[17] two Leo Awards and a SOCAN Award out of a total of 11 award nominations,[18] [19] [20] which include one Reuben Award, 6 Leo Awards,[21] [22] [23] [24] one Annie Award,[25] two Kids' Choice Awards and the SOCAN Award.[26] [27] It remains the longest-running original Cartoon Network serial and Canadian-fabricated blithe series to date.[1] [28]
